Research and Policy Manager
Apurva has over 9 years of work experience in public policy, social impact and IT sector. He has managed programs in leadership development, public health and public policy education. He was instrumental in managing the primary healthcare program with the Government of Rajasthan at Biocon Foundation in 2015. In Phicus Social Solutions, he managed the Aritra Leadership Accelerator Program which is a leadership development program for mid to senior leaders in social impact organisations. As a program manager in Takshashila Institution, he developed and managed the Post-Graduate Program (PGP) in public policy. He has also taught a few courses in public policy and health finance at Takshashila.

His broad areas of interest are public health, public service delivery and law and governance. He has obtained MA in Development from the Azim Premji University, Bangalore with health and nutrition as his specialization. He also writes a newsletter called Gentle Leviathan that covers topics that lie at the intersection of public policy, politics and development with a special focus on India.
